The Serial Experiment follows a number of stories about various citizens of Denid. Most of these stories are the length of a short novella when they are completed. Sequels and continuations of those stories are gathered together into books for convenience.
The Book of the Black is the continuing story of the citizens of Denid’s most downtrodden sector, The Black. Known for its many iron foundries, perpetual layers of soot and ash, and serious issues with overpopulation, the Black is rampant with crime and corruption, a powder keg waiting for a spark. The people here do whatever they must to get by, in the hopes of a better life.
The Interludes are true anthology collection, the stories cataloged here stand on their own as short stories, usually not directly related to the events in the other books.
